Arizona State visits San Diego State in rare road game

Nov 18, 2008 - 3:17 PM No. 15 Arizona State (1-0) at San Diego State (1-0), 11:00 pm EST

SAN DIEGO (Ticker) -- In it's lone non-conference road game, No. 15 Arizona State visits San Diego State on Tuesday.

The Sun Devils (1-0) will play three games at neutral sites this season, but do not visit another team's arena again until their Pac-10 Conference opener on January 2 at Stanford.

Arizona State won its opener, 80-64, on Friday behind James Harden's 24 points and career-high 10 assists. Ty Abbott added 18 points and eight rebounds.

Harden averaged 17.8 points last season and is expected to be one of the top players in the conference this season.

It will not be easy getting a win at San Diego State (1-0), which has won 37 of its last 43 home games.

Billy White had 15 points and eight rebounds and Kyle Spain scored 14 points as the Aztecs posted a 59-40 victory over UC-San Diego on Saturday.
