Balanced Villanova squad takes on Niagara

The 23rd-ranked Wildcats hope to make it three straight Wednesday when host Niagara in the third of five straight homes game to start the season.
Senior forward Dante Cunningham leads the team at 22 points a game, including a 31-point, 11-rebound performance in Monday's 107-68 win over Fordham.
Villanova has been on fire from behind the arc, knocking down 45 percent of its 3-pointers. Corey Stokes has led the way, making 6-of-7 shots from three.
The Wildcats play seven straight games in Pennsylvania before a neutral-site game against Texas on December 9 at Madison Square Garden.
Niagara used an impressive defensive performance to win its opener, 79-62, over Towson, forcing 24 steals and blocking 13 shots. The Purple Eagles also held the Tigers to 30 percent shooting (21-of-69).
Tyrone Lewis led the Purple Eagles with 20 points and eight blocks while Benson Egemonye added 14 and 16 rebounds.
