KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- After raising a national championship banner, 23rd-ranked Kansas looks to advance to another championship game on Monday when it faces Washington in the semifinals of the CBE Classic.

Kansas, which posted a 75-68 victory over Memphis in last year's NCAA title game, recorded a 85-45 romp of Florida Gulf Coast on Tuesday. Junior guard Sherron Collins scored a career-high 25 points for the Jayhawks, who seek their fifth 3-0 start in six seasons.

The winner of this game will face either No. 18 Florida or Syracuse.

Kansas (2-0), which has not faced Washington since 1988, is holding opponents to 26.5 percent from the floor.

The Huskies (2-1) are coming off a 74-51 win over Florida International on Thursday. Justin Dentmon scored a team-high 21 points. Washington trails the all-time series, 7-1.
