MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- The Memphis Tigers start a busy stretch when they host Arkansas State on Wednesday.

The Tigers, who defeated Kentucky, 80-63, in the consolation game of the Maui Invitational Tournament on Wednesday, start a stretch where they play four games in eight nights.

The triumph over Kentucky eased the pain slightly of a 92-85 loss to Georgia Tech on November 21. The Tigers led by 16 points at halftime before crumbling after the break.

In the win over Kentucky, Robert Dozier led Memphis with 15 points while Chris Douglas-Roberts and Jeremy Hunt added 13 points.

The Indians had their four-game win streak broken with a 84-78 loss to South Dakota State on Monday. Isaac Wells led Arkansas State with 18 points while Adrian Banks chipped in with 16.
