Louisville continues Marques Maybin Classic vs. Ohio

Dec 7, 2008 - 8:11 AM Ohio (3-2) at No. 11 Louisville (3-1) 4:00 p.m. EST

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Louisville bounced back from an early season upset with its most lopsided win.

The 11th-ranked Cardinals will look to keep rolling against Ohio on Sunday in the second of three games in the Marques Maybin Classic.

Following a shocking, 14-point loss to Western Kentucky, Earl Clark led four players in double figures as Louisville routed Indiana State, 83-43, on Saturday.

Terrence Williams had 12 points, eight rebounds and seven assists while Edgar Sosa added 10 points and five assists off the bench.

After shooting just 27 percent (15-of-56) in the loss to the Hilltoppers, the Cardinals rebounded by knocking down 48 percent (31-of-64) from the field against the Sycamores.

The Bobcats dropped their opener of the three-day, round-robin tournament, 76-67, to Lamar. Jerome Tillman had 25 points and Justin Orr added 19 as Ohio lost for the second time in three games.
