EAST LANSING, Michigan (Ticker) -- Michigan State continues a soft part of an otherwise demanding schedule when it hosts Alcorn State on Saturday.

The 20th-ranked Spartans bounced back from a blowout loss to top-ranked North Carolina with a 75-59 win over Bradley Sunday. After managing just a five-point lead at halftime against the Braves, Michigan State used a 17-5 run to open up a comfortable lead midway through the second half.

Chris Allen scored 19 points and Kalin Lucas added 12 points, six rebounds and nine assists for the Spartans, who were routed, 98-63, by the Tar Heels on December 3.

Raymar Morgan is leading the Spartans with 16.1 points a game, while Allen and Lucas are averaging 11.0 and 10.9 per game, respectively.

Michigan State still has out-of-conference tilts against sixth-ranked Texas on December 20 and No 23 Kansas on January 10.

Alcorn State is coming off its first two victories, albeit against NAIA opponents William Carey and Tougaloo. Troy Jackson scored 20 points and Jarvis Williams added 16 points and 14 rebounds.

Jackson is averaging 21.9 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game to lead the Braves.
