Dec 13, 2008 - 11:43 AM Austin Peay (5-2) at No. 10 Louisville (5-1) 1:00 p.m. EST

LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- After three games in three days as part of the Marques Maybin Classic, 10th-ranked Louisville enjoyed a well-deserved for much of the past week.

The Cardinals are back in action Saturday when they host Austin Peay before leaving Kentucky for just the second time.

Louisville cruised to victories over Indiana State, Ohio and Lamar by an average of 32.3 points following its surprising loss to Western Kentucky on November 30.

Samardo Samuels has led the way for the Cardinals with 16.3 points per game. Earl Clark leads the team in minutes at over 30 a game, averaging 12.5 points and 8.2 rebounds, while Terrence Williams is adding 9.0 and 9.5 per contest.

Louisville, which lost its only game away from Freedom Hall, 68-54, to the Hilltoppers, hits the road to play Mississippi as part of the SEC/Big East Invitational in Cincinnati on Thursday. Its first true road contest is not until the Big East opener, January 7, at South Florida.

On the other hand, the Governors are in the midst of a six-game, three-week road trip. They have won the first three contests, including a pair of victories to open Ohio Valley Conference play.

Austin Peay routed Southeast Missouri State, 91-67, December 4 and edged Eastern Illinois, 81-73 last Saturday.

Drake Reed scored a career-high 37 points in the win over the Panthers. The senior is averaging 20.9 points and 7.9 rebounds.
