Kansas looks to keep rolling vs. UMass

KANSAS CITY, Missouri (Ticker) -- Kansas will look for its 31st straight home victory when it takes on Massachusetts as part of the M&I Bank Kansas City Shootout at the Sprint Center on Saturday.

The 23rd-ranked Jayhawks have reeled off four straight victories after their first loss of the season, an 89-81 setback against Syracuse in the same arena as part of the CBE Classic on November 25.

Kansas has beaten its last four opponents by 25.5 points a game. Sherron Collins led the Jayhawks to an 86-62 win against Jackson State last Saturday, leading five players in double figures with 17 points.

Collins is averaging 17.8 points and 4.9 assists a game while Cole Aldrich is averaging a double-double per contest with 14.4 points and 10.1 rebounds.

UMass snapped a six-game losing streak with a 73-59 triumph over Holy Cross on Wednesday. Ricky Harris had 23 points to lead the Minutemen and Tony Gaffney added 17 and 11 rebounds.

Harris is scoring 21.3 points a game while Gaffney is averaging 13.3 points and 12.9 boards per contest.
