Pittsburgh aims to keep rolling at home

PITTSBURGH (Ticker) -- Pittsburgh has taken full advantage of its early season home schedule.

The third-ranked Panthers look to cruise to another home victory when they host Siena on Wednesday.

Off to its sixth straight 10-0 campaign, Pittsburgh made Saturday's 91-56 triumph against Maryland-Baltimore County its 36th consecutive home win against non-conference opponents.

Sam Young is scoring 20.6 points and DeJuan Blair is averaging 14.6 and 12.8 rebounds to lead the Panthers, who have outscored opponents by 22.9 points.

Siena has won its last three games and will try and upset Pittsburgh at the Petersen Events Center.

Alex Franklin scored 22 points as the Saints improved to 2-0 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 77-60 victory over Marist on December 9.

Edwin Ubiles is averaging 14.8 points to lead Siena.

Pittsburgh, which has played a pair of games at neutral sites, plays its first true road game at Florida State on Sunday.
