Memphis hoping to rebound at home

Dec 22, 2008 - 2:44 PM Drexel (2-5) at No. 21 Memphis (6-3), 1:00 p.m. EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Coming off a rare home loss, No. 21 Memphis looks to bounce back on Monday when it hosts Drexel.

The Tigers are fresh off a 72-65 setback to No. 11 Syracuse on Saturday, their second home loss in the last 58 games.

Roburt Sallie scored 12 points off the bench, going 4-for-6 on 3-pointers. The rest of the team was just 3-for-27 from the arc, combined.

The loss was also Memphis' third of the season, surpassing the total of two that it lost all of last season.

Drexel has lost four straight games, including Saturday's 81-75 setback at Bucknell.

Scott Rodgers scored a season-high 24 points and leads the Dragons in scoring at 14.6 per game.

The matchup also features Drexel coach Bruiser Flint going against Memphis' John Calipari. Flint was an assistant under Calipari at Massachusetts.
