Baylor continues homestand against Hartford

WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Baylor eyes its fourth straight win when it hosts Hartford on Monday.

The 22nd-ranked Bears improved to 2-0 on their current seven-game homestand with a 79-76 triumph over Texas-Arlington on Saturday.

Baylor trailed by nine at the break - its first halftime deficit of the season - before rallying for the win.

Curtis Jerrells scored a season-high 29 points in the victory and the senior leads the team at 17.2 per game with 5.9 assists.

The Hawks have split the first two contests on their four-game road trip. Hartford posted a 59-55 victory over Sacred Heart on December 14.

Joe Zeglinski leads Hartford in scoring at 15.3 points per game, but the senior missed the last contest with an ankle injury.
