Harangody, Notre Dame visit DePaul

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- Luke Harangody and No. 10 Notre Dame open Big East Conference play on Wednesday when they take on DePaul.

Expected to be amongst the contenders for a conference championship this season, the Fighting Irish come in on a three-game winning streak but will be playing their first road game since a win at Loyola Marymount on November 21.

The reigning Big East Player of the Year, Harangody has not disappointed in his junior campaign.

The 6-8, 250-pound forward is averaging 22.7 points and 12 rebounds per contest this season. Harangody had 23 and 13 in Notre Dame's 81-49 victory over Savannah State on December 22.

DePaul is coming off a 90-57 victory over Alcorn State on Sunday, its sixth win in seven home contests.

Dar Tucker scored 25 points in the win and the sophomore leads the team in scoring at 19.8 per contest.

Notre Dame swept the season series last season, averaging 93.5 points in the two games.
