DAYTON, Ohio (Ticker) -- Xavier hopes to rebound from a loss and stay atop the Atlantic-10 Conference standings when it visits Dayton on Wednesday.

The 14th-ranked Musketeers (20-3, 8-1 A-10) had their 11-game winning streak snapped on Saturday, falling 72-68 at Duquesne.

B.J. Raymond scored 18 points and Terrell Holloway had 16 for the Musketeers, who have allowed 70 or more points in three straight games for the first time all season. Xavier is surrendering 63.5 points per contest.

Xavier currently has a half-game lead over St. Joseph's (7-1) atop the conference standings, but Dayton (21-3, 7-2) can move into a first-place tie with a victory.

The Flyers are also coming off a loss, dropping a 79-66 decision at Charlotte on Sunday. The setback snapped a seven-game winning streak.

Chris Wright is averaging a team-high 12.6 points per game but the sophomore netted a season-low five in defeat.

Xavier has won the last six meetings between the teams.
