Gonzaga vs. TCU: March Madness Round of 32 Same Game Parlay Bets

Odds via FanDuel Sportsbook

Leg 1 – Over 155.5 points (-115)

This game should produce some absolute fireworks, with Gonzaga coming in as the most efficient offensive team in the country and TCU ranking just outside the top-50. Both teams love to push the pace, ranking top-63 in possessions per game. The Bulldogs are the top 2PT% team in the country, and they come in at 8th in 3PT%. They also shoot foul shots at a top-50 rate, so they should get plenty of chances from the line. Meanwhile, Gonzaga is a sieve defensively, ranking 323rd in points allowed per game and ranking 200th or worse in 2PT% and 3PT%. I think we should get a fast-paced game with lots of buckets, pushing this game over the high total.

Leg 2 – Drew Timme 20+ points (-135)

Back for what seems like his 10th collegiate season now, Timme has continued his dominant career for the Bulldogs. He’s averaging nearly 21 PPG on 65% shooting, and while the Horned Frogs are a capable team at defending the 3, they are much more vulnerable down low (148th in defending the 2), especially without the presence of big man Eddie Lampkin. This should also allow Timme to grab a couple of extra offensive rebounds, allowing for easy putback opportunities. In a game that I expect to be high-scoring with lots of possessions, look for Gonzaga to go to their ultra-reliable big man early and often.

Leg 3 – Mike Miles Jr. 18+ points (+105)

Miles is the straw that stirs the drink for TCU and their offense which is heavily reliant upon fastbreak opportunities, which the pace of play in this game should allow for. He’s averaging just below 18PPG, he shoots the ball well from deep (35%) and gets to the line nearly 7 times per game where he shoots it at a 74% clip. As I laid out above, Gonzaga mostly relies upon their offense to win them games, and they are more than capable of surrendering easy looks to their opponents. Miles is coming off of a 26-point performance which going to have to be replicated for TCU to hang around in this one, and the loss of Lampkin will just increase his opportunities to score in this high-possession game.
