Wisconsin looks to keep streak intact vs. Wisconsin-Milwaukee

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- Bo Ryan and Wisconsin have streaks on the line when they face Wisconsin-Milwaukee on Wednesday.

Ryan, who coached the Panthers for two seasons, is 5-0 against his former program. The seventh-ranked Badgers have won the last 13 meetings and own a commanding 22-1 advantage in the all-time series.

Wisconsin is coming off a 70-66 win over Marquette on Saturday for its fifth straight victory. That extended the Badgers winning streak over Division I in-state foes to six in a row and they can make it seven Wednesday.

Alando Tucker scored 28 points and Kammron Taylor added 13 for Wisconsin, which survived 21 turnovers.

After a 68-65 setback to Youngstown State on Sunday, Wisconsin-Milwaukee had its losing streak pushed to five games. Paige Paulsen scored 16 points and Allan Hanson followed with 14, including four 3-pointers, for the Panthers, who shot just 34 percent (26-of-77) from the floor.

Wisconsin has not lost to Wisconsin-Milwaukee since December 12, 1992.
