Quigley's 21 leads No. 21 DePaul to 67-56 win
Dec 4, 2009 - 9:40 PM CHICAGO(AP) -- Sam Quigley scored a season-high 21 points as No. 21 DePaul earned a 67-56 non-conference victory over Illinois-Chicago on Friday.Quigley made 4 of 6 3-pointers for the Blue Demons (6-2). They used an early run in the second half to turn a 31-29 halftime lead into a 44-31 advantage.
The Flames (1-6) closed within 44-39 on Jessie Miller's 3-point shot. But the Blue Demons quickly restored a double-digit lead.
Miller made five 3-pointers to finish with 19 points and teammate Jasmine Bailey added 10.
DePaul's Keisha Hampton had 16 points and eight rebounds, while Anna Martin had 12 points and Felicia Chester added 10.
DePaul has beaten Illinois-Chicago 34 straight times and leads the all-time series 35-5.
