After an ASU turnover, Gilbreath made two free throws, and after another Sun Devils miscue Gilbreath took a touch-pass from Ashley Corral for a layup and a 57-56 lead.

Kayli Murphy missed two free throws on Arizona State's next possession, and the Sun Devils missed 3-pointers on their final two possessions.
