Baylor women secure Big 12 title with rout of Texas

The undefeated Lady Bears (28-0, 15-0 Big 12) also got a double-double from Destiny Williams in their 39th straight home win. Williams totaled 11 points and 10 rebounds, while Kimetria Hayden added 17 points in the blowout.
Yvonne Anderson paced the Longhorns (15-12, 5-10) with 16 points. Chassidy Fussell chipped in 13 points and 13 rebounds, but shot just 5-of-21 from the field in Texas' sixth loss in eight games.
Baylor held its Big 12 rival to 21 percent shooting in the first half en route to a 40-20 lead at the break. The difference reached as high as 28 midway through the second stanza.
