No. 8 Penn State dominates Ohio State in second half
Jan 27, 2013 - 8:55 PM Columbus, OH (Sports Network) - Nikki Greene had 11 points and 13 rebounds to lead eighth-ranked Penn State in a 71-56 win over Ohio State on Sunday.Maggie Lucas had a team-high 18 points, while Alex Bentley added 16 points for the Lady Lions (17-2, 7-0 Big Ten), who have won 11 in a row.
Trailing by nine at the break, Penn State outscored Ohio State 43-19 in the second half, and limited the Buckeyes to 35.3 percent shooting from the field for the game.
Tayler Hill, the Big Ten's leading scorer, had a game-high 28 points for the Buckeyes (11-9, 1-6), who lost their first home game to Penn State since Feb. 27, 2005.
