Baylor pounds Texas for 20th straight win
Feb 10, 2013 - 5:21 AM Austin, TX (Sports Network) - Odyssey Sims scored 18 points and Brittney Griner added 14 as No. 1 Baylor blew past Texas, 75-48, for its 20th straight victory.Griner also recorded her 13th career dunk in the 34th straight Big 12 regular- season victory for the Lady Bears (22-1, 12-0 Big 12), who also got 11 points from Jordan Madden.
Imani McGee-Stafford had 13 points and 18 rebounds to lead Texas (9-13, 2-9), which shot 32 percent from the field.
The Longhorns scored the game's first five points, only to have Baylor respond with a 13-2 run. Nneka Enemkpali hit consecutive buckets to stop the flurry, but the visitors scored the next 11 points to take control.
It was a 34-25 Baylor lead at the break, and Griner's dunk during an 11-0 spurt early in the second half put the exclamation point on the rout.
