Notre Dame stays hot with rout of Marquette
Feb 17, 2013 - 10:08 PM Milwaukee, WI (Sports Network) - Skylar Diggins had 23 points, seven assists and four steals as the second-ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish posted their 19th straight victory with an 87-49 rout of the Marquette Golden Eagles.
Natalie Achonwa had a double-double with 17 points and 10 rebounds for the Fighting Irish (24-1, 12-0 Big East), who have won a school-record 19 consecutive regular-season road games, including 16 straight in conference play, as well.
Sarina Simmons and Arlesia Morse tallied 12 and 11 points for the Golden Eagles (12-13, 4-8), who have lost two in a row.
