Jan 31, 2014 - 4:22 AM Raleigh, NC (SportsNetwork.com) - Myisha Goodwin-Coleman posted 16 points, as No. 18 NC State claimed a 72-63 victory over No.8 Maryland on Thursday.Markeisha Gatling added 15 points and Len'Nique Brown posted 12 for the Wolfpack (19-3, 6-2 ACC), who posted their first win over a top-10 opponent at home since a win against then-No. 2 UNC on Feb. 16, 2007.
Lexie Brown came through with a game-high 20 points and Alyssa Thomas followed up by pouring in 18 with nine rebounds for the Terrapins (16-4, 4-3).

Gatling scored five points during the burst, Goodwin-Coleman chipped in with eight, including two shots from long distance, while Miah Spencer closed out the spurt on a layup with 42 seconds left to make it 68-59.
NC State trailed 27-18, but reeled off nine in a row in just over a minute to draw even, but Maryland took a 38-33 edge to the break.
