No. 21 UCLA women beat Oregon 80-69

Jan 3, 2016 - 12:21 AM LOS ANGELES (AP) Nirra Fields scored 31 points, Kari Korver keyed a comeback rally, and No. 21 UCLA beat Oregon 80-69 on Saturday to end the Ducks' 11-game winning streak.

Trailing 39-35 at the end of the second quarter, Korver hit two 3s amid a 10-2 run and UCLA regained the lead 46-45, then pulled away 60-51 after her third 3.

Fields scored 11 points in the fourth, with back-to-back 3s for a 78-65 lead with 3:03 left. Fields hit 5 of 7 3-pointers, tying her career best.

Fields made three 3-pointers amid an 11-1 run and UCLA pulled ahead 21-9 in the first quarter, but Oregon rallied to take a 33-31 lead on Jillian Alleyne's two free throws and led 39-35 at halftime.

Alleyne scored a career-high 25 points with 16 rebounds for Oregon for her NCAA-leading 12th double-double. Jacinta Vandenburg added a season-high 12 points and had eight boards.
