No. 21 Oklahoma women top Arkansas-Little Rock 65-52

Dec 3, 2015 - 3:29 AM NORMAN, Okla. (AP) Kaylon Williams scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds, and No. 21 Oklahoma pulled away to win 65-52 over Arkansas-Little Rock on Wednesday night.

Peyton Little scored 11 and Gabbi Ortiz had 10 points, six rebounds and four assists for Oklahoma (6-1), which won its fifth straight. Williams was 9 of 16 from the field and 3 of 4 on free throws.

Shanity James' layup with 1:32 left in the third pulled Little Rock within four at 41-37, but a quick 6-0 run from the Sooners put Oklahoma up double digits, and the Trojans wouldn't come within striking distance the rest of the way.

James had 21 points on 9-of-15 shooting for Little Rock (2-3) to go with eight rebounds and three steals. Sharde Collins added 13 points.

Oklahoma held Little Rock to just 32.4 percent shooting and outrebounded the Trojans 44-34.
