Maryland ends nation's longest home winning streak
Dec 21, 2007 - 3:27 AM HARRISONBURG, Virginia (Ticker) -- Laura Harper scored 24 points to power No. 5 Maryland past James Madison, 71-65, on Thursday as the Terrapins ended the longest Division I home winning streak at 30 games.Marissa Coleman added 19 points and 11 rebounds for the Terrapins (14-1), who overcame a 10-point second-half deficit to win their fourth straight game.
Maryland held James Madison to 37 percent (26-for-69) shooting from the field to overcome a dreadful 11 percent (1-for-9) performance from the arc.
Tamera Young led the Dukes (6-3) with 28 points.
