Baylor uses second-half rally to down Rice
Dec 30, 2007 - 11:36 PM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Angela Tisdale scored 18 points and Rachel Allison added 17 and 10 rebounds as No. 10 Baylor recorded a 76-51 victory over Rice on Sunday.Danielle Wilson scored 11 points and Melissa Jones added 10 for the Bears (10-1), who shot 60 percent (18-of-30) in the second half to break open what had been a tight game.
Trailing by 11 points with just under eight minutes left in the first half, Baylor ripped off a 14-2 run to help forge the 31-31 tie at the half.
Kadie Riverin scored 16 points and Valeriy Berezhynska added 13 and nine rebounds for Rice (7-7), which shot 36 percent (20-of-56) and committed 21 turnovers.
