Robinson carries Oklahoma past Nebraska
Jan 17, 2008 - 5:13 AM NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Danielle Robinson scored 22 points to lift No. 10 Oklahoma to an 80-72 Big 12 Conference victory over Nebraska.Courtney Paris added 16 points and 11 rebounds - her 75th consecutive double-double - for the Sooners (11-3, 2-1 Big 12), who used a 10-0 run midway through the second half to shake the Cornhuskers.
Amanda Thompson and Jenna Plumley also were in double figures with 15 and 11 points, respectively, for Oklahoma, which converted 19-of-20 free throws.
Yvonne Turner scored 18 points to lead Nebraska (13-4, 2-1), which committed 25 turnovers that led to 32 points for the Sooners.
