Feb 17, 2008 - 10:51 PM STARKVILLE, Mississippi (Ticker) -- Angela Puleo scored 16 points for No. 24 Georgia in its 60-56 victory over Mississippi State in Southeastern Conference action on Sunday.Tasha Humphrey added 14 points and 11 rebounds for Georgia (19-7, 6-5 SEC).
Georgia allowed just 33 percent (19-for-57) from the field, including a 14 percent (2-for-14) mark from the arc. However, Mississippi State stayed close throughout due to 94 percent (16-for-17) shooting from the foul line.
Marneshia Richard led Mississippi State (15-11, 3-8) with 15 points.
