Tokova, Louisville remain unbeaten, blow away Sacramento State
Dec 31, 2006 - 9:45 PM LOUISVILLE, Kentucky (Ticker) -- Yuliya Tokova scored 13 points and grabbed nine rebounds as No. 14 Louisville crushed lowly Sacramento State with a 77-42 victory.Reserve Chauntise Wright had 11 points and Brandi Radde also had 10 points off the bench for the Cardinals (15-0), who came into the contest as one of five remaining unbeaten teams in Division I.
Jazz Covington added 10 points and 13 rebounds for Louisville, which shot 44 percent (33-of-75) from the field and outrebounded Sacramento State, 58-31. The Cardinals also scored 24 points off 19 turnovers by the Hornets.
The lone Sacramento State player in double figures, Kim Sheehy made 5-of-12 3-pointers and scored 17 points for the Hornets, who shot a paltry 28 percent (17-of-60) in falling to 0-6 on the road.
