Novosel leads Notre Dame in rout of Seton Hall

Feb 9, 2011 - 2:59 AM South Bend, IN (Sports Network) - Natalie Novosel had 16 points to help No. 8 Notre Dame to an 89-38 thrashing of Seton Hall.

Skylar Diggins added 14 points, seven assists and six rebounds, while Brittany Mallory donated 13 points for the Fighting Irish (21-4, 10-1 Big East), who have won eight straight.

Jasmine Crew had 10 points for the Pirates (7-16, 0-10), who have dropped their last nine games.

Notre Dame shot 66.7 percent in the first half to take a 44-23 lead, then limited Seton Hall to four field goals in the second period.
