Baylor takes out Oral Roberts

Dec 13, 2012 - 2:53 AM Waco, TX (Sports Network) - Odyssey Sims posted 27 points, six assists and six steals as No. 3 Baylor defeated Oral Roberts, 94-56.

Brittney Griner had 22 points and 10 boards while Brooklyn Pope added 19 points for the Lady Bears (8-1), who have won 44 straight games at home.

Kevi Luper gave 19 points while Taylor Cooper donated 16 for the Golden Eagles (3-4), who were coming off a blowout win of Evangel last Wednesday.

Baylor led this game from start to finish as the team posted 10 of the first 12 points of the game and later had an 11-0 run to help the club take a 51-34 lead into the halftime break.

The Lady Bears' lead never dipped below 13 points in the second half and a 12-0 run before the midway point of the frame put the game away.
