Top-ranked Huskies rout Memphis
Jan 23, 2014 - 3:13 AM Hartford, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Kaleena Mosqueda-Lewis had 21 points, Bria Hartley added 20 and top-ranked Connecticut routed Memphis, 83-49, on Wednesday night.Breanna Stewart tallied 16 points and nine rebounds for the Huskies (20-0, 7-0 AAC), who have won 26 straight games dating back to last season.
Breigha Wilder-Cochran netted 12 points to lead Memphis (10-9, 3-4), which had its three-game winning streak snapped.
UConn held a 39-23 cushion at the break and Mosqueda-Lewis capped a 14-2 run with a 3-pointer for a commanding 55-30 spread early in the second half.
The Huskies led by as many as 36 down the stretch before cruising to the easy win.
