No. 10 Tennessee rallies past Alabama
Feb 3, 2014 - 1:38 AM Tuscaloosa, AL (SportsNetwork.com) - Cierra Burdick had 21 points and 11 rebounds as No. 10 Tennessee rallied for a 64-54 victory over Alabama on Sunday.The Lady Vols trailed 26-18 at halftime, but outscored the Crimson Tide 46-28 in the second half.
Isabelle Harrison added 11 points, 11 boards and six assists for Tennessee (18-4, 7-2 SEC), which has won four straight games.
Daisha Simmons led the Crimson Tide (10-12, 3-6) with 18 points.
Burdick hit a 3-pointer with 7:29 left to give the Lady Vols their first lead since the opening minutes of the game. Meighan Simmons then hit a triple to stake Tennessee to a 45-39 advantage. The Lady Vols never looked back.
