Bingham, Barlow lead Louisville past Ball State
Nov 10, 2007 - 9:22 PM MUNCIE, Indiana (Ticker) -- Candyce Bingham scored 20 points and Patrika Barlow tied a school record with 16 assists as Louisville rallied past Ball State, 81-62, in the season opener for both schools on Saturday.Barlow tied Jackie Spencer's record for assists, which was set nearly 22 years ago. The senior point guard easily surpassed her previous career high of 11, which she set last season.
Audrey McDonald scored 19 points to lead Ball State, which led by three points at halftime.
Angel McCoughtry and Brandie Radde added 19 and 16 points, respectively, for the Cardinals, who outscored Ball State, 45-23, in the second half.
