Player, Tisdale help Baylor crush Saint Mary
Nov 11, 2007 - 5:26 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Jhasmin Player had 29 points and seven rebounds and Angela Tisdale scored 17 points as No. 15 Baylor coasted to a 101-47 thrashing of Saint Mary's College on Saturday.Rachel Allison netted 13 points and Jessica Morrow added 10 for the Lady Bears, who shot 51 percent (14-of-27) from the field in the opening half en route to a 57-24 edge.
Baylor's (2-0) defense was on full display in this one, collecting 40 points off 31 turnovers and holding a 34-8 advantage in the paint.
Sierra Chambers led the charge for Saint Mary's (1-1) with 11 points off the bench.
