Parker leads Tennessee past Chattanooga
Nov 11, 2007 - 11:46 PM KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Candace Parker scored 23 points as Tennessee began its title defense with a 76-56 win over Chattanooga on Sunday.Vicki Baugh was the only other Volunteer in double figures with 11 points.
Tennessee (1-0), which defeated Rutgers in the NCAA Championship Game to claim its seventh national title, did the majority of it damage inside the paint, outscoring the Mocs 42-18.
Laura Hall paced Chattanooga (1-1) with 15 points.
