Wilson scores 21 in Baylor rout
Nov 16, 2007 - 3:29 AM WACO, Texas (Ticker) -- Danielle Wilson scored 21 points and Angela Tisdale added 16 as 13th-ranked Baylor used a big second half to pound Texas-Pan American, 76-39, on Thursday.Wilson connected on 9-of-13 shots from the floor, including 3-of-10 3-pointers, and added seven rebounds and three assists. Tisdale converted half of her six shots from the arc and picked off five of Baylor's 17 steals.
The Lady Bears (4-0) shot 60 percent (15-of-25) from the floor after intermission and outscored the visitors, 37-14. Baylor shot 57 percent (30-of-53) for the game and forced 28 turnovers.
Tamara Vaughn had 14 points for Texas-Pan American (0-1), which shot 36 percent (16-of-45) from the floor and attempted just eight free throws.
