Nash scores 19 off the bench to lead Texas in rout
Nov 16, 2007 - 3:35 AM AUSTIN, Texas (Ticker) -- Kathleen Nash led a bench brigade with 19 points and 10 rebounds as Texas jumped to a 36-point lead at the half and blasted Lamar, 94-35, on Thursday.Nash knocked down two 3-pointers en route to shooting 7-of-13 from the floor. She also had 10 rebounds and four assists in 26 minutes.
Reserves Aubrey Cook and Rachel Rentschler added 13 apiece for the Longhorns (2-0), who shot 56 percent (39-of-70) and held Lamar to just 23 percent (15-of-65).
Brittney Williams scored 12 points for Lamar (1-2), which committed 25 turnovers and trailed, 51-15, at the half.
