Sanni guides West Virginia in rout
Nov 18, 2007 - 8:42 PM MORGANTOWN, West Virginia (Ticker) -- Olayinka Sanni scored 22 points to lead No. 20 West Virginia in 93-52 rout of Cornell on Sunday.Meg Bulger added 21 for the Mountaineers (3-0), who have won their first three games of the season by an average of 40 points.
West Virginia shot 50 percent (33-for-66) from the field and 43 percent (7-for-16) from the arc while holding the Big Red to 33 percent shooting (17-for-52) overall. The Mountaineers' bench also outscored Cornell 44-10.
Kayleen Fitzsimmons paced the Big Red (1-2) with 15 points.
