20-0 run sends No. 14 Cal past TCU
Nov 24, 2007 - 5:29 AM FORT WORTH, Texas (Ticker) -- Ashley Walker scored a game-high 19 points on Friday as No. 12 California remained unbeaten with a 74-55 victory over Texas Christian.It was the third consecutive game for the Golden Bears (4-0) against a team that participated in the NCAA tournament.
Walker also had six rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 26 minutes. She now has 100 career blocks - fifth in school history.
Rama N'diaye equaled her career high of 14 points and added a career-high 17 rebounds for her second double-double of the season. Lauren Greif added a season-high 16 points for Cal.
The Horned Frogs (2-3) led, 10-7, with 13:49 to play in the first half before Cal went on a 20-0 run that ended with 5:51 left until halftime. Walker scored 11 points, including the first nine to begin the run, and Greif added five points during the game-changing stretch.
Adrianne Ross came off the bench to lead TCU with 14 points, including her team's first 10 points after halftime.
