Turnovers help Notre Dame sink Boston College
Nov 24, 2007 - 8:36 PM SOUTH BEND, Indiana (Ticker) -- Charel Allen had 15 points and handed out eight assists as No. 24 Notre Dame posted an 88-58 victory over Boston College on Saturday.A senior guard, Allen also had five of the 21 steals for the Fighting Irish (4-1), who finished with 41 points off the 33 turnovers by the Eagles.
Lindsay Schrader scored 16 points and Ashley Barlow and Brittany Mallory added 13 apiece for Notre Dame, which shot 46.6 percent (34-of-73).
Stefanie Murphy finished with 18 points and 10 rebounds for Boston College (2-2), which had a 40-37 edge on the boards.
