Quigley, DePaul continue success against intrastate foes
Nov 25, 2007 - 11:07 PM NORMAL, Illinois (Ticker) -- Allie Quigley scored 22 points and Natasha Williams added 18 as No. 23 DePaul captured an 80-75 victory over Illinois State on Sunday, extending its winning streak against intrastate foes to 25 games.Quigley connected on a pair of 3-pointers, handed out five assists and collected four of her team's 14 steals. Overall, the Blue Demons (4-0) had 25 points off of 18 turnovers by the Redbirds.
Caprice Smith scored 16 points and Taylor Pikes added 15 and five steals for DePaul, which shot 50 percent (32-of-64) from the field, including 9-of-18 on 3-pointers.
Kristi Cirone had 25 points and eight assists but also committed six turnovers for Illinois State (4-1).
