Keane, Michigan State hold off Delaware State

Nov 27, 2007 - 3:54 AM DOVER, Delaware (Ticker) -- Kalisha Keane scored 18 points and Allyssa DeHaan had 15 points and five blocks as 18th-ranked Michigan State held on for a 65-62 victory over Delaware State on Monday.

Courtney Davidson added 15 points off the bench for the Spartans (5-1), who committed 25 turnovers but shot 58 percent (22-for-38) for the game.

Michigan State led, 33-30, at the half and made 14-of-15 free throws in the second half en route to winning its third game in a row.

Raquel Collier scored 19 points and Thea Littlepage had 11 points and 10 rebounds to lead the Hornets.

Delaware State (2-3), which shot just 32 percent (24-for-74) scored 25 points off turnovers, while committing only seven giveaways of its own.
