Walker helps California bounce back from first loss
Nov 28, 2007 - 10:21 PM BERKELEY, California (Ticker) -- Ashley Walker scored 25 points to propel No. 13 California to a 75-54 victory over Loyola Marymount on Wednesday.Kelsey Adrian added 14 for the Bears (5-1), who shot 45 percent (18-for-61) from the floor and held a 40-18 advantage in points in the paint.
Walker shot 9-of-14 from the floor and grabbed 10 rebounds to help the Bears bounce back from their first loss of the season.
Kavita Goss scored 12 points for the Lions (4-3), who were outscored, 44-30, in the second half and had their two-game winning streak snapped.
