Crozon, Rodriguez lead Utah women over Washington St 75-69

Feb 27, 2016 - 9:05 PM PULLMAN, Wash. (AP) Paige Crozon and Danielle Rodriguez scored 28 points apiece - career highs for both - and Utah outlasted Washington State 75-69 on Saturday.

Crozon matched a career high with 16 rebounds and Rodriguez contributed five assists for the Utes (16-13, 8-10 Pac-12). They combined to hit on 20 of 31 shots and Crozon hit four 3-pointers.

Washington State (14-15, 5-13) was led by Borislava Hristova with 12 points and six rebounds, and Caila Hailey added 11 points. The Cougars were 4 of 18 from beyond the arc and were outrebounded 54-32.

Washington State led by 12 points at the half, but Utah used a 14-2 run to tie it at 44 with 3:23 left in the third quarter. It was back-and-forth down the stretch until Utah made a 6-0 spurt - including a 3-pointer by Crozon - to go up by five with 46 seconds to go. Crozon had 23 points in the second half.
