Old Dominion tops Michigan State for third straight win
Dec 2, 2007 - 10:05 PM NORFOLK, Virginia (Ticker) -- T.J. Jordan scored 24 points and Tiffany Green added 20 as Old Dominion captured a 79-73 victory over No. 19 Michigan State on Sunday.It was the second straight win over a ranked foe for the Lady Monarchs (6-2), who knocked off then-No. 20 Purdue in the Paradise Jam last Sunday.
Jordan shot 8-of-13 from the field with six 3-pointers, and Green grabbed five rebounds and blocked a pair of shots.
Megan Pym added 10 points and seven boards for Old Dominion, which shot 46.8 percent (29-of-62) and scored 27 points off 22 turnovers by Michigan State.
Courtney Davidson had 17 points and Kalisha Keane added 15 for the Spartans (6-2).
