Paris, Oklahoma blast Arkansas State
Dec 2, 2007 - 11:32 PM NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris had 22 points and 15 rebounds as ninth-ranked Oklahoma rolled to a 93-36 victory over Arkansas State on Sunday.Danielle Robinson scored 17 points, Jenna Plumley added 15 and Ashley Paris contributed 12 for the Sooners, who shot a stellar 57 percent (36-of-63) from the floor.
Oklahoma (4-2) wasted little time taking care of business in this one, jumping out to an aggressive 47-18 bulge through the first half behind 56 percent (18-of-32) shooting.
Ebonie Jefferson and Veronica Smith each netted six points for Arkansas State(4-4), which shot a dismal 21 percent (12-of-57) and committed 23 turnovers.
