Coleman helps Maryland blast Northern Iowa
Dec 8, 2007 - 2:09 AM COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Marissa Coleman had 22 points and 12 rebounds to pace No. 6 Maryland in its 91-37 rout of Northern Iowa on Friday.Laura Harper added 10 points and 11 rebounds for the Terrapins (12-1).
Crystal Langhorne scored 14 points and Marah Strickland chipped in with 13 more for Maryland, which shot 55 percent (36-for-65) from the field and outscored the Panthers, 46-16, in the paint.
Traci Ollendieck scored 14 points to pace Northern Iowa (4-3), which shot just 26 percent (15-of-57) from the field.
