Turnovers help Texas blow past Texas A&M Corpus Christi
Dec 8, 2007 - 10:21 PM CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas (Ticker) -- Brittainey Raven overcame some poor shooting to score 13 points as No. 25 Texas routed Texas A&M Corpus Christi, 88-41, on Saturday.The Longhorns' leading scorer, Raven finished 3-of-10 from the field as she fell nearly five points below her average.
Crystal Boyd had 16 points off the bench and Earnesia Williams added 11 for Texas (7-2), which finished with 28 points off 22 turnovers by Texas A&M Corpus Christi (1-7).
Elisa Beagle had nine points and six rebounds for the Islanders, who shot 26 percent (14-of-54).
