C. Paris dazzles as Oklahoma rolled past Tulsa
Dec 8, 2007 - 11:34 PM TULSA, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Courtney Paris dominated in usual fashion with 17 points, 22 rebounds and four blocks as No. 9 Oklahoma posted a 67-47 triumph over Tulsa on Saturday.Danielle Robinson scored 11 points and Ashley Paris grabbed 13 boards to help the Sooners (6-2) create a commanding 39-24 bulge through the first 20 minutes.
Behind the Paris sisters, Oklahoma was in total control on the glass, holding an impressive 54-36 edge with 22 of those boards coming on the offensive side.
Chanel Johnson recorded 12 points and nine rebounds and Larrissa Williams added nine and 11 for Tulsa (2-8), which shot just 29 percent (16-of-55) from the floor.
